Stephen Ministry

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)

Are you or someone you know going through a hard time? WCC’s new Stephen Ministry is here to help. Stephen Ministry provides ongoing, one-to-one caregiving to people who are hurting. Through caring relationships, those going through a challenging stretch receive the support and encouragement they need.

Pastors will always be on the front lines of care, especially during times of crisis. But there are always many more needs for care. Our Stephen Ministers are spiritually gifted and thoroughly trained to provide confidential support and care to anyone going through life’s challenges.

Our Stephen Ministry is one of thousands around the world. This highly successful international ministry, based in St. Louis, was founded in 1975. Stephen Ministry is a non-profit Christian educational organization that provides training and resources to develop a biblical caregiving ministry in churches and organizations worldwide.
