Growth & Maturity

Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.Colossians 2:7a

God wants each of us to grow in our faith, so that we can be used to reach others with the gospel story of Jesus Christ.  We are attempting to accomplish that by modeling, teaching, equipping, and empowering believers as they grow into devoted followers of Christ within the context of Christ-centered relationships.

Reading the Bible Together
When we spend time in God’s Word, we’re getting to know Him. We’re also maturing in our faith. Regularly spending time together with God in His Word is such a beautiful, life-giving thing. And just as it benefits us as individuals, when we gather together as the church to commit to spending time reading and studying the Bible, something special happens. We’re able to encourage one another and grow together. That’s why we launched the churchwide Bible reading plan. We’ll spend a year reading the New Testament together.

Equipping the Church
Equipping the Church was WCC’s ongoing discipleship program developed to help us grow in our faith, and share the hope of the gospel with others. A journey of growth encourages us to live out God’s truths, and in doing so, fulfill the Great Commission. Whatever stage of spiritual growth you are in, Equipping the Church content provides the elements and environment needed for you to grow in maturity and live out your faith.  All previous "Equipping the Church" content is available on the WCC media player.
