At WCC we do not believe that the way we are baptized is as important as the reason we are baptized. If you have accepted Christ as your Savior and want to be obedient to Him through baptism, it’s time to celebrate. At WCC we like to celebrate what God is doing in your life and your obedience to Him.

Though we do not insist on a method of baptism, our common practice is “immersion” (you step down into the water and basically get submerged by reclining you toward your back). We choose immersion because we feel that it best pictures Romans 6:4-6. And that is something to celebrate!
