Counselors for Day Camp at Camp Adventure
(for students age 15 or older by July 1)
June 28-July 1, 2020
Cost: $0 (counselors responsible for providing their own cabin decorations and dinner money)

Our high school students have the opportunity to serve as counselors for Camp Adventure’s Day Camp, which takes place from 8am to 5pm for campers in 1st-6th grades. After campers go home for the evening, our counselors stay at Camp Adventure to pray, worship, and prepare for the next day’s campers. This is a great opportunity to practice sharing the Gospel with kids who may not have made Jesus their “forever friend” yet. Although there is no charge to be a counselor, we ask students to be available for training, and then bring money for dinners in the evening and decorations for their cabin.

Applications are available at Youth Group on Sunday nights.

Registration deadline: May 1, 2020

Vacation Bible School Team for Local Mobile Home Park
(for current 7th and 8th graders)
June 21-24, 2020
Cost: $100

Through a strong partnership with WCC’s Hispanic Ministries, our 7th and 8th graders will be preparing a Vacation Bible School exclusively for community residents and kids in Kindergarten-6th grade. VBS will take place during the day, and we will spend the evenings nearby worshipping and preparing for the next day. To help build a sense of team and community, students will not go home in the evenings, unless special arrangements must be made to do so. Cost for this trip is used for meals, lodging, and supplies for the VBS kids. We look forward to our students being introduced to local missions and able to share the love of Jesus in our community.
