Musician Teams
Middle School and High School students
Sundays, 6-6:45pm, various dates

We will be forming two worship teams and groups of tech helpers to practice this summer, in order to prepare for future worship needs. One group will be preparing for worship music leadership for Club456. The other group will be preparing for worship music leadership at Youth Group. Each group will have different student participants and different leaders, but each will be using some of the same resources and instruments.

Students that are interested are asked to commit to as many of these practices as possible, in order to be prepared for the school year. Personal amplification will allow us to remain physically distanced from each other. Masks will not be required for singers, but will be recommended for other participants at this time. Equipment will be cleaned regularly. We will use the lower level entrance and restrooms for this group. Please bring your own drinks and snacks, if desired.

Video Editing Team
Middle School and High School students
Sundays, 5:50-6:45pm, July 12-August 23
Room 31, Lower Level

As our ministry grows, we have found an opportunity for students to get more involved and take some initiative as well as ownership in WCC Student Ministries by forming a video editing team. This team will edit promotional and teaching materials and videos for upcoming series for the summer and school year. In order to teach and minister in a post-COVID world, we know that we need to produce more digital content and resources. This group will help to begin this production. We are asking students to bring their own phones, tablets, notebook computers, etc. in order to record and edit content. Expect to learn how to record, mix audio, and edit video clips.

Deadline for sign-up is July 11. Please bring your own drinks and snacks if desired.

Video Gamer League
Middle School and High School Students
Mondays, July 27, August 3, 10, and 17 from 7-10pm
Room 31, Lower Level

Over four Monday nights this summer, we will be hosting a Video Games group to allow our students to reconnect after a long period of isolation. Video game groups tend to be great ways to get a community of students together, and our church is a great facility for this type of group, where we need to be able to still space out. Students are responsible for bringing in their game systems and controllers of choice, along with any cleaning supplies they prefer to use, and food or drinks they would like to have while here.
