Back-to-School Drive 2024

As WCC continues to develop partnerships that allow it to support local schools and care for vulnerable children, the church is excited to join with other community organizations to help provide school supplies for local students in need. With schools resuming in August, this is a tangible way to care for and meet the needs of children in the community while developing relationships with students, parents, school staff and volunteers.

Support the back-to-school campaign in one or more of the following ways:

• Grab a United Way Ready-to-Go bag (or multiple bags) at WCC beginning Sunday, July 14, to take and fill, then return to the church by Tuesday, July 30. A list of needed supplies is included in each bag. Bags will be available at the Back-To-School lobby table, Info Center, and lower level Sonlight check-in desk.
• Volunteer at Combined Community Service’s Tools for School at Lakeview Middle School on Tuesday evening, July 30, to Wednesday, July 31, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contact Ami Pitt (apitt@ccsgives.com /574-797-0208) at CCS for more details.
• Become part of a School Team or our Care Portal Response Team for long-term impact. Contact Greg Demopoulos (outreach@warsaw.cc) for more details.
