In Mark 16:15, Jesus said “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel.” Sounds easy, huh! So why don’t we do it? We may claim it’s because of fear (what others will think of us), ignorance (we don’t know the Bible well enough or don’t think it’s our place—that’s what pastors are for), or maybe it’s just plain apathy (we just don’t care about the unsaved). But whatever the reason, Jesus commands us to share the Gospel with those we encounter—no excuses. Yes, that’s what He wants us to do.
But how do we share the Gospel with others? How do we gain the confidence we need to tell others what Jesus means to us and about the hope the Gospel offers? How do we approach family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers and share the Good News?
“Discovering Evangelism: Confidently Sharing the Hope of Christ” will answer those questions and help us see that God uses everyone to spread His Word, even those of us who consider ourselves broken. The three classes will help train, equip and empower us to be more confident and to recognize opportunities to share when they present themselves. Each interactive lesson will be a deeper dive into the previous Sunday’s lesson on evangelism.
Childcare is available for children ages 0 to Grade 6.
