ACTS Founders The Clarks to Share Ministry Updates

After seeing the devastation of the 2010 earthquakes in Haiti and the ongoing desperation of the Haitian people, Clark and Mary Kay Shepherd sensed God’s calling to help. The couple founded ACTS Ministry (Allowing Christ to Shine), an organization that helps meet the physical and spiritual needs of Haitian children and adults. Clark and Mary Kay will share an update on recent developments in their ministry at the October Missions Night meeting.

The Clarks have built an effective team of Haitian Christ-followers who tirelessly serve and disciple in difficult circumstances, and they have invited short-term teams to share with others what God is doing through ACTS. The organization, which has offices in Haiti and Warsaw, Ind., is known locally for sponsoring contemporary Christian concerts in the Warsaw area as a source of encouragement to concert goers and to thank donors for their support. ACTS is now building relationships and beginning outreach in the Central American nation of Colombia.
