Ben & Krista Balke Family
Life Impact Ministries is a preventative care ministry that offers hosted places of rest, retreat, and renewal (called Oases) for International Workers and Christian Leaders all over the world. God began preparing Ben and Krista for this ministry before they even knew each other. For both, the desire to care for pastors, missionaries and Christian leaders began in high school. Ben and Krista grew up in Warsaw, IN and have attended WCC for 20 years. In 2014, they moved with their 3 children to Costa Rica in preparation for this ministry.

LeaderSource is involved world-wide building young, emerging leaders to strengthen and expand the church. Jim Brenneman serves in Asia, an area where, until recently, westerners had to smuggle Bibles. Now there is a desperate need to better understand how to read and teach God’s Word. The growth of the church there is so explosive that the need for leaders can barely keep pace! God is using Jim and LeaderSource to meet this need.

The Maleu Church/Least-reached Project
The Maleu church in Gie/Aimola, Papua New Guinea is the fruit of God’s work through the ministry of Todd and Karen Gerst and their partners Matt and Angie Hall. After a time of relationship building, and language and culture study, Todd and Matt taught God’s Word to the villagers of Gie. They then meticulously translated the New Testament. The process was long, difficult and often painful, but over time, God grew a body of believers who, in turn, have reached out with the Good News of Jesus, planting 5 churches in the neighboring villages. Todd and Karen continue to champion the cause of sending missionaries into areas without access to the Gospel.
