Join Us for an Unforgetable Experience
Wayumi (pronounced wī-yo͞o-mē) is a fun and fascinating retreat at which you will learn your role in God’s story! Through amazing storytelling and hands-on experiences, you’ll discover that a life on mission centers on the Great Commission, both overseas and right here at home.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the retreat cost?
WCC views Wayumi as a foundational experience for the whole church. The church will cover all retreat costs (which includes the tasty meals during the retreat) as well as transportation costs.
I’m not really a “missions” person. Why should I go to Wayumi?
Wayumi has something for everyone. Participants will learn truths that are relevant in Warsaw IN, or Wantikia, PNG. You’ll also better understand the core story woven through the Bible, the Great Commission, and that we each have a vital role in spreading the Gospel to our neighbors and the nations.
Can I bring my kids to Wayumi?
Certainly! We have had 37 WCCers join us ranging in age from 8 to 67-years old. Wayumi’s teaching is full of great storytelling, visual aids, and interactive exercises lead by real missionaries. The teachers pull the kids into the learning along with the rest of the participants. Everyone seems to love the fun, the teaching, the interactive experiences, and the community! Please ask us if you have any questions.
Where is Wayumi?
The Wayumi campus is in Jersey Shore, Central Pennsylvania — set in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains. The church provides van transportation.
