Over the last decade, WCC has had the privilege of helping provide meals to the Community Kitchen. In partnership with other churches and organizations, we work with First United Methodist Church in downtown Warsaw to help provide lunches to those in need.

The next day for WCC to prepare and provide lunches for distribution is Wednesday, March 16.

At this time, we’re still being asked to provide sack lunches until further notice. These can be prepared off-site and dropped off by 10:30am, or you may use space in the kitchen at First United Methodist Church (179 South Indiana Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580) to prepare your bagged lunch, if you prefer.

The church is in need of 220 bagged lunches. Visitors will walk up to the church doors or drive through in their cars to receive meals. We’re asking volunteers to sign up for 10 sack lunches or more. If you can help, please visit the “Perfect Potluck” sign-up page, then put your name in one of the slots. Again, each slot represents 10 lunches. Each bag needs to include a sandwich, vegetable, fruit, and dessert item. Beyond that, you may add other items. (Please note: if you provide meat sandwiches, they should NOT have condiments already on them.)

We appreciate your willingness to love on our neighbors with the blessing of food. For further questions, contact: Laura Robertson, 574-268-0188, x217.Sign-up here.
