Stephen Ministry Kicks Off Fifth Year at Beyer Park Gathering

The fifth year of Stephen Ministry kicked off Aug. 2 at the annual recommitment celebration. A total of 26 people gathered at Beyer Park on Pike Lake in Warsaw for a meal and fellowship, to recommission those ministers who have chosen to continue in their roles for another year and to honor those who have served two or more years as a Stephen Minister. 

“It was a beautiful evening with a wonderful group of caregivers,” said Nate Metler, Pastor of Community Groups at WCC. “We have 31 Stephen Ministers serving with us in 2022-23, and 20 of those ministers are currently caring for someone. It is amazing to see how these ministers care, encourage, listen, pray and support those in need and share Christ’s love.” Learn more about Stephen Ministry.
