Eleven members of WCC’s Helping Hands team participated in a Habitat for Humanity home build Feb. 3., in Claypool, Ind. The team spent the day installing kitchen cabinets, door frames and the back patio steps. The home is being built for a single mom with one child.

“We always come away with a sense of Christian community when we partner with Habitat,” said Jeff Pfeifer, pastor of care ministries at WCC. “It is always a blessing to be able to share the love of Jesus with the homeowner as well as the team that is working together to bless the family, and we also enjoy the time spent together in devotions and prayer.”
