Allowing Christ To Shine
Missions Partner
Clark and Mary Kay Shepherd | Lafiteau, Haiti
When Clark Shepherd was in Haiti in 2010 with World Compassion Network responding to relief efforts from the devastating earthquake, he was shocked at the number of children who had no access to food, education, shelter or the Gospel. Clark returned to Haiti a few years later and learned the situation had not changed. Clark asked God “When is someone going to help these children?”, but after much prayer, he realized he was the one being called to help.
Clark founded Allowing Christ to Shine (ACTS) to bring those much-needed resources, as well as spiritual awareness and comfort, to the children of Haiti. The organization is dedicated to helping the children of Haiti by providing shelter, education and food and teaching the word of God and sharing His love, which can transform lives and communities. ACTS organizes short-term missions trips to allow people to experience what God is doing in Haiti and beyond.
