Ben and Krista Balke Family | Heredia, Costa Rica
God began preparing Ben and Krista for their ministry before they even knew each other. For both, the desire to care for pastors, missionaries and Christian leaders began in high school. Ben and Krista grew up in Warsaw and attended WCC for 20 years. In 2014, they moved with their three children to Costa Rica in preparation for ministry.
Throughout the years, Ben and Krista have seen firsthand how important it is for missionaries, pastors and other Christian workers to find time to reflect on God’s calling and to consider how their work is affecting their families, their teams and their relationship with God. Through their work with Life Impact Ministries, an organization that provides places of rest, retreat and renewal (Oasis) for international Christian leaders and workers around the world, the Balkes provide personal coaching and coordinate retreats for Christian workers from around the world at an Oasis in Costa Rica.
