More than 65 women recently participated in “Discerning the Voice of God,” WCC’s women’s summer Bible study. During the Priscilla Shirer seven-week study, the women learned how to discern between God’s voice and the everyday chatter in life.
The study, which ran from June to August, was led by hosts Cheryl Clawson and Carin Roy and was attended by women from WCC as well as the community. For several women in the group, the study was their introduction to a WCC ministry.
“This Bible study was the very best one I’ve ever been to,” said Karen Stephenson. “Words can’t even express the wealth of what I learned about the Holy Spirit. Thank you, WCC, for offering this topic over the summer.”
WCC offers a women’s Bible study each summer to encourage women to come together to study God’s Word and to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and with one another. Both morning and evening sessions are offered each year.
